Zormot is proud to be part of the community by giving resources, providing ongoing product education, and donating to community needs. One of our current goals is to improve education on proper shrink film disposal. This helps to protect our environment. Locally, through churches and schools, we sponsor and provide materials for multiple slip-n-slide events, many of which are also fundraising events for needs in our community. Through these efforts we strive to live in unity with our community, customers, and world.
Our Story
Through experience and hard work, Zormot has become the industry leader in the global shrink wrap market providing premium products with personal and professional customer service. Zormot is the only shrink wrap supplier that makes large custom bags fitted to a customer’s specifications.
Zormot strives to have the best solutions for our customers' shrink-wrap needs to lessen the worry about costs or deadlines and eliminate guesswork. We offer training and other resources to our customers because we believe in the usefulness of our products which are used worldwide in the industrial manufacturing, agriculture, marine, automotive, and defense industries.
Since 1992
Founders Roz and Tom Kerkstra worked for many years within the transportation industry, observing up close how equipment and products were shipped. They realized that to move and store large machinery and manufactured equipment effectively there needed to be a change in how things were done. So they created Zormot International in 1992 to fill this need through their customized shrink-wrapping process.
They began training companies on the shrink-wrapping process and demonstrating that with a small investment in equipment and shrink wrap, they could bring export packaging in house and eliminate extra costs paid to an outside packaging company. Once the products were wrapped, they could be picked up and loaded onto a truck for either warehousing or shipping.
In 2020 the Kerkstras' grandson Jeremy Rumble bought the company, and he has the same commitment to providing high quality products and excellent customer service as his grandparents did.
